Timeless Teachings in a Changing World
All programs and courses are selected by the client, based on their needs and assessment scores. The services are based on improving the Emotional Intelligence (EI) of each client, and teaching them how to implement EI strategies into their daily practices and interactions with their children.
The classes are facilitated by individuals whose life and/or professional experiences are directly related to the course topic. Confidentiality is a top priority, and we strive to offer courses that cover a broad range of needs that parents have.
"The Answers", curriculum & workshop, helps parents approach the topic of racism with their children. This difficult topic is approached from a global and historical perspective. Parents are encouraged to discover if they have biases of their own, and identify the root of those biases. Clear definitions for commonly misused terms are provided, along with strategies on how to approach the topic.
"Boundaries" and "Safe People" are courses all clients are encouraged to take. A boundary is a personal property line that marks things we are responsible for. This course offers solutions on how to set healthy boundaries with our children, parents, spouses, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves.
The "Safe People" course explains the characteristics of safe people, and help us identify when we are behaving in ways that are safe, with our children. The wounds inflicted by an unsafe person can go deep. If clients have been in a relationship where they were used, abused, or abandoned, "Safe People" will help parents make wise choices in relationships from friendships to romance. Parents will discover how to avoid repeating mistakes and how to choose safe, healthy people for their friends, and learn how to build relational security with their children.
